OOH LA LA! is a state of mind!
This is a living archive of everyday wonder, whimsy, and delight.

I started this project in February 2024 as a space to celebrate the ordinary moments and feel-good aliveness of the every day.
I got here because I’ve been thinking more about what kind of world I want to help create, and what I can contribute to this vision.
This project is built on the belief that noticing delight is a form of revolution, joy is a tool for survival, and play, pleasure, whimsy, and wonder are not distractions from the “real” world, but are in fact the realest, truest things that sustain us and pave the way to the future of our dreams.
The more in tune we are with our passions and pleasures, the more nourished and powered up we are to be creative and compassionate.

And more than ever, I know we need more powerful, light-filled, and juiced-up shiny hearts, full of creativity and love in order to create the future we want to live in.
That’s what this space is all about.

Part playground, part prayer, OOH LA LA! is an ongoing project exploring wonder, pleasure, play, creativity, and the poetry of everyday life.
This is not just a publication.
It’s a practice, a devotion, a shared ritual of paying attention, making art, and celebrating the beauty of being alive!
It’s a place to dream, to question, to create, to contribute, to listen, to imagine, to hope, to believe.
From the perfect cream on your coffee to the bliss of a new notebook, from spotting a flower growing in the sidewalk to having a good cry, or reading a resonate poem, or snuggling your dog, or learning a magic trick, or dancing under a disco ball, all matters of silly, mundane, exciting, simple, wild, wonderful, weird, beautiful things are welcome!
And while pleasure is a serious business, it’s also meant to be a place we can play.
Each week, I share some wonder or whimsy through art, writing, reflections, audio-visual experiments, and more.
